Meet Yves

Standard

I am so excited to introduce to you an amazing little guy we call Yves. Here is what a fellow advocate had to say about him.

“I know Yves has the perfect family just waiting to see him today! Yves was born in 2004 & there is a lot of information on him for interested families. He has been diagnosed with PKU, but it is controlled by diet & is doing well. He is described as a leader & loves to sing, dance & play. Please contact WACAP at ckids@wacap.org for more information! $4,000 grant available!”

If you think you might the family he is hoping for please contact WACAP for more information.

PKU formula

Standard

If you or someone you know has PKU, you know how important metabolic formula is. You also know how incredibly expensive it is. We were contacted by an incredibly generous donor who was willing to donate formula to waiting children with PKU if we could find a way to get it to them. We were able to get permission from one orphanage who cares for children with PKU to send some! It’s going to cost about $225 to ship a three month supply for one child. We started a gofundme site to help cover these costs. Please consider donating $5 and sharing with your friends. Thanks so much for your support!

Taisha

Standard

Beautiful Taisha has been waiting for a family for way too long. She is eight years old now and needs a family who is willing to learn about PKU and the effects of poor treatment over time. She needs a chance to be part of a family and receive the love and care only a family can provide. If you would like more information on her please contact Children’s House International. You can learn more about her here. You can also find her information on http://www.rainbowkids.com

Home Study

Standard

Today we had our final visit with our social worker to complete our home study. Our social worker was absolutely amazing! She is diligently working to complete the write up to send to our placing agency. As soon as we have the home study we can begin applying for grants. We can also begin our clearance process for immigration and send our documents to be authenticated. We are getting so close. We can’t wait to get our little one home.
